Driver Training

TSL offers a LOCAL driver training program at our terminals in
Omaha, NE; Kansas City, MO; and Denver, CO. Upon
successful completion of the program, there is 100% job placement with TSL!
This is a very popular & competitive program so admittance is limited.

Requirements: |
- 23 Years of Age
- Clean Driving Record

Tuition: |
|
$1200*
*As an employed solo driver for TSL, the driver earns a tuition credit
each month. After 12 months as a driver, tuition is completely waived.
|
Training: |
|
Our training is a paid, hands-on, and full-time program. After an
entry-level orientation, trainees will train onsite at one of our terminals
where they will learn extensively about equipment and develop proper driving
techniques and backing skills. Once the trainee is able to test out of this
stage of the program, the trainee will learn about city & highway driving,
logs, hours of service, and required industry paperwork.
Upon completion of the program, our trainees will qualify for a Class A CDL
and full-time employment as a solo local driver for TSL where you can be home
nightly.
